"Modeling teaches you to be completely conscious of the camera. Acting is totally being unconscious of it." -Phoebe Cates
I remember being a little girl living in a small-town modeling in Roxy for my first runway show I knew what I wanted to be from there. I was very nerdy and I got made fun of a lot. But I know a part of that pushed me to succeed. All of my dreams came true being a model and I am really grateful for it.
Pageants & Modeling
I knew nothing about pageantry when I started in 2013. But I wanted to share what was in important to me in the world and to do something different. I conquer my fears and stayed true to what I believed in. And because of my modeling background I was use to the pressure of standing in a crowed. Modeling and pageantry both helped me become the woman I am and to empower other women.
“Do everything with love and live for it."
Modeling takes extreme dedication and its a lot harder than people think. My advice is you haft to be patient and have energy into all the shoots you do even its freezing cold outside. I’ve learned to cope with different climates and be able to understand what the client wants for specific look.
“This photo shoot changed me.”
Whenever I had something upset happening to me I kept going with modeling. My pain went towards my creativity and my acting.
I admire the people that choose to shine even after all the storms they've have been through. Don't let getting hurt change you in a negative way. Believe in yourself to continue to love, continue to grow, continue to trust and continue to forgive
